Walid B 5 Oct 2009	One of General Kanaan's pictures shows him in his Boy Scout uniform. He belonged to the Scout Des Apotres. Being a boyscout myself in the same group, I was raised on looking up to him, he was our idol and the person that we strive to become. God bless his soul. A leader like him, cannot die in vain. I can assure his wife that her loss, however painful, was a gain to Lebanon and to the young people that he inspired. In a way we are better persons because of such leader.
